THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

Reporting into the Head of Commercial Finance, this role offers the opportunity to be part of a fast paced and dynamic finance team, and really help drive the business. With exciting plans to continuously improve retail stores and enhance customer experience, this role will work alongside the Retail Director and wider Retail team, directly contributing to commercial decision making.  Supporting the most important part of the UK business, this role will need to build strong relationships with the Retail team and wider stakeholders; whilst operationally lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, deliver robust KPI reporting, develop business cases and measure ROI.  The role will manage and develop a Commercial Finance Analyst. Based in East Croydon the role requires travel to the site in Littlehampton approximately twice per week.



MORE ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Provide commercial finance insight and support to the Retail Team
  • Lead the monthly P&L review meetings and attend Regional Retail Meetings
  • Produce and maintain detailed sales, KPI forecasts and payroll controls
  • Build business cases on store refits, openings, closures and relocations
  • Provide analysis to support pricing and promotional decisions



IDEAL EXPERIENCE

·         Strong communication and relationship building skills

·         Qualified – ACCA/CIMA/

·         Management experience

·         Retail / FMCG experience essential

·         Good knowledge of Microsoft core programs - Excel (including pivot tables and macros),                         

·         Word and Power Point

·         Working knowledge of SAP/BW and some POS systems



LOCATION

Our global HQ is located in the heart of East Croydon – 1 minute walk from the train station and is just 10 minutes train ride from Clapham Junction and 16 minutes from London Victoria. Our brand new office opened just over one year ago and provides a light, modern and open-plan work space that includes an onsite global café and even a live living wall in the reception area.
